About Us

sports_hall

In 1998 a small group of local runners got together and formed Lytham St Annes Road Runners Club and as membership grew so did the club's involvement in local leagues and national competition. Ten years down the road, in January 2008, with a well established adult membership base, the club introduced a Junior Section to the club to provide coaching for local children in the athletic disciplines of Running, Throwing and Jumping.

Our UK Athletics qualified coaches provide coaching in a safe and fun environment for all children aged 8 years or over irrespective of ability . The welfare of our members is of paramount importance and our welfare policy document can be found of the club's website at Welfare Policy

Many of our junior members compete for the club in local cross country and track & field leagues and some have gone on to compete at county level.

Our home is at Lytham YMCA on Mythop Road and full details of training sessions can be found on the Training Sessions Page.
