David Wood Inter Club Series
From April to September, the club competes in the local Inter Club Series. Approximately once a month, a different club in the race series organises a race between 4 and 5 miles.
The races are for every club member and they are run in a competitive but friendly spirit. Since covid guests are no longer allowed.
There is no entry fee, you just turn up and run with a club vest on. There are team and individual prizes which are presented after the first race the following year, usually Blackpool.
There are six team categories:
- Open Team – First 10 to score (M or F)
- Female Team – First 5 to score
- FV40+ Team – First 5 to score
- Veterans – First 6 to score (M or F)
- Veterans 50+ – First 4 to score (M or F)
- Veterans 60+ – First 3 to score (M or F)
Minimum age to run is 15 on race day.
