The 25th Bryan Grundy Green Drive Five takes place this year on 19th October 2025. Incorporating the Lancashire Athletics Association 5 Mile Championships, you can find out more on our dedicated event page.
Online entry is now closed but entry is still available on the day for the Green Drive Five. The Junior Race is sold out.
Lytham St Annes Road Runners Club is a friendly running club established in 1998. As well as road running we participate in athletics, cross country and fell running.
Each year we organise the renowned Green Drive Five (a 5 mile road race) and the St Annes Carnival 5k & Fun Run.
Whatever your standard of running, come along to Lytham YMCA, Mythop Road on a Tuesday evening night at 6:30pm or the shelter at Granny's Bay, Fairhaven on a Thursday morning at 6:00am and find out how quickly your running improves.
The Junior Section of our club train on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You'll receive a warm welcome and will soon see how being a member of Lytham St Annes Road Runners will lead to many enjoyable competitive and social activities.
We have been awarded Clubmark accreditation by England Athletics. Read more on the England Athletics website.
We're pleased to announce that we were awarded Highly Commended following our nomination under 'Club of the Year' as part of Fylde Active Community Awards 2024 (PDF booklet). Furthermore, our long-term and dedicated junior coach Terry Hellings, received a 'Lifetime Achievement Award', recognising the significant contributions he has made over many years.
We've set up a Strava group for the club. It's just for fun and open to any member to join if you use Strava. Just search for LSARRC and follow the instructions - any problems see Greg.
